Sweet! Noon!***

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:52 AM

how many seconds will it take tnet to freak out over a noon

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:53 AM

Death Valley is a different place for night games, but we'll

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 3:40 PM

never get to see it with our "ACC TV contract."

So Maryland and fsu get a better time and channel***

Clemson Blues Brothers

Time, yes. Channel? Debatable...

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 2:26 AM

Yes, ABC is network, but that is almost definitely regional, whereas Clemson will be national.

No, we get a national audience, they get regional.***

I dont get this

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:53 AM

the better you play you still get stuck at noon and people you beat play at three?

This needs to be taken personally and used as team motiviation to inflict pain on the tarheels because this is some swofford ploy to try to give them an easier DV trip than a later afternoon or evening game would be. Absolute BS

Re: I dont get this

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:57 AM

Same ol' Clemson. It'll all be better when we spank UNC by 30 and UNC gets an extree year of probabtion. Ha haaa, yeah, was kidding about the latter

Re: I dont get this

what goes around comes around.just sayin.

Re: I dont get this

I thought like you, until Auburn got nothing, and there even were admissions by former players that they got cash, etc. I doubt uncheat get much in the way of sanctions, and the same for usuc on their transgressions. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Agreed on swoffie having his hands on this. Onlt thing is it puts his school with a crappy time, too. He must have something he needs to attend later that day.

Thanks ACC...

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:54 AM

Fortunately our team doesn't seem to care what time they play.

That blows!

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 1:56 AM

Looks like you have to lose to get a preferred time slot.

#### yeah earlier the better

Re: Football Update: ACC announces gametime for UNC

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 3:59 AM

that's ridiculous. 3 or 330 slots would have been more fitting. you would think that the acc would want the game to be more primetime, since every other team in the conference has let down this season. no one watches the noon games.

The ACC doesn't pick the times, TV does.

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 7:18 AM

Besides, our slot is a nationwide audience, the 3:30 slots are regional games.

EMBRACE NOON.... all day TV coverage of the victory.***

Getting there early, witnessing the victory,

and tailgating again after the game makes for one fine day!

During the rest of the day all of the halftime highlights for the various games will feature us, which is good for exposure.

Maybe We Get Urban Meyer Again Instead of Big Pam Ward

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 8:34 AM

SPam Ward

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 9:03 AM

A few years ago , i cant remember that fat guy's name that would get so giddy , he did acc games but he was bad , there are a lot of really bad ones on tv and the radio but spam ward is not only bad but listening to her voice for more than five minutes could put anyone on suicide watch 8~

Who picks or decides these things?

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 8:50 AM

John Swofford. I mean really! One undefeated team in the conf. who has already beat MD and FSU, and they pick a 3 loss FSU team vs a 3 loss MD team. That Duke win was so impressive.
I'll have to watch this game on tape delay (in NC) while my kids play soccer. Probably will make it to the DVR around literally 3:30. I'll need to get a tee shirt that says "don't tell me the score I'm recording it"

TV Network Management who's jobs are on the line if they

don't generate the best possible TV ratings for their bosses.

I used to hate noon kickoffs as a student but now I don't see them as being so bad. Once we win, you can tailgate all day and watch the other games. I also heard the players like noon kickoffs. If it makes the players happy (not that they had any say in the matter) then thats good for us as well. I'll be up bright and early to cheer on my Tigers no matter what time they play!!!

Have you seen some of their choices? Your logic doesn't

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 3:06 PM

hold water...

I'm not one of the ACC-Swofford conspiracy theorists,...

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 10:21 AM

... but Clemson has had two night games this year... ON THE ROAD AT VT AND MARYLAND. The Tigers have only gone on the road twice, and both have been night games. One of which, VT, is a "very tough place to play" at night. Then, we get the 7:00 slot to play at terpland against a team that historically gives the Tigers the business (thank god Ron Cherry wasn't there last night). I don't know if this says something about ESPN trying to screw us, but one thing is very clear: the Tigers have passed both tests with a lot of heart and determination when all of the outside influences have been stacked against us. The game last night wasn't pretty, but it took a lot of heart, pride, and confidence to come back and win that game. I hate the time slot for the home game against UNCheat as much as anyone, but I think this team would be ready to put a beat down on the holes even at 6:00 A.M. Hopefully the Tigers have gotten all of what we saw last night out of their system. Get 'em ready, coaches! Let's have a 21 - 0 lead on the holes by 12:30 P.M this Saturday!!!!

UNC Got a Night Home Game for Clemson Last Year

and they say the ACC isn't biased.

Re: Football Update: ACC announces gametime for UNC

Swofford: "No put Clemson at Noon and keep UNC later than noon. Not put Clemson at noon when they play UNC. DOOHHH!!!"

If only stinkin' UNC could have won yesterday...

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 11:50 AM

could have been another game against a ranked opponent.

Only thing I like about nooners.......

Posted: Oct 16, 2011 12:22 PM

especially at home is it gives me a chance to see CU play and be back in Greenville for the end of the 330 games and to see all of the late games.

Same here.***

That's F'ing garbage!!!

Undefeated #8 Clemson gets noon and FSU/Maryland get the good 3:30 ABC slot? What a crock.

Where are all the people who said win and the night games

will come? Time to reap the whirlwind...

must be nice for people who don't work third shift the night before the games... makes for an extremely long day for those who do.
