As per someone on the board already said, ESPN's recipe for picking Clemson Games:
1. Is clemson playing a game
2. If #1 was yes, is clemson ranked?
3. If #2 was yes, is the team clemson playing ranked lower than clemson?
4. If #3 is yes, then Clemson is on upset watch.

do that enough times with enough teams, and you are bound to declare yourself a genius once in a while.
