"Football Analysts" at Bama

I know it's a running joke about Saban snapping up former HCs as "Analysts" the last few years (and we have (had?) Terry Bowden on our staff) but has anyone checked Saban's current staff of "Analysts"? Pretty solid list of guys:
- Butch Jones (former CMU, Cincinnati, and Tennessee HC) - Charlie Strong (former Louisville, Texas, and USF HC) - Major Applewhite (former Houston HC) - Mike Stoops (former Arizona HC)
He's also got Sarkisian as OC who was promoted from Analyst. Mike Locksley, the current Maryland HC was one as well.
I looked it up and the Analyst positions usually pay between $30,000 and $50,000 but of course, all of these guys are still collecting checks from their last stops.

We need to send Mike Stoops (and his brother) a thank you card. Without him "failing" at AZ, and then retreating to OU again to displace BV... well we would not get BV.

I thought the Stoops hired other Stoops automatically. So glad Venables got out of that silliness

????????????????????????????????????
We are very lucky to have such a great Athletic Department with great coaches who stay. This means to me Clemson is a great place to work.
God Bless America. We need you now more than ever.

I remember when Charlie Strong was THE name for every school searching for a coach. Then again, Muschamp was too.

Strong is a great coach IMO. He got a raw deal at Texas.

They brought him into a program that was in terrible shape but none of the Texas people wanted to admit it. Then they gave him next to no time to turn it around. If Herman had come into the same situation and given the same leash he was he'd be gone by now.
People kind of forget he went 37-15 at Louisville and beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl. He was a really good DC too.

Strong is an absolutely horrible coach. Not saying what he

was at Louisville or Texas - but at USF - he, from the beginning, had no drive or desire or WANT TO that ANYONE could find.
First-hand, personal conversations with folks way up the USF Athletic Dept were consistently that they realized they had almost been "duped" in that hire within the first year.
Terrible head coach now - lost his way - has made enough money - lost the enthusiasm of his youth - who knows.

There is a big difference between and Muschump. Charlie Strong can coach and win. His biggest mistake was leaving Louisville to go to Texas! He was treated like dirt at Texas.

Strong led Louisville to a victory in the 2013 Sugar Bowl over his former team, the Florida Gators, by a final score of 33–23.[7] It was the biggest upset victory in terms of point spread in any BCS bowl game since the inception of the BCS in 1998, as Florida entered the game favored by almost two touchdowns.
At USF he won 10 games his first season and had 2 winning season’s out of 3.
Just a few notes on Charlie Strong.
