As I recall, the 49ers drafted him and he played a little bit but was backing up Roger Craig. Not much playing time there ...

back the memories. i remembered him being smooth and fast but i had forgotten about his nifty footwork. He saved our season the year Flowers went down with a season ending ankle injury early in the year playing UGA. What a year he had. It was his senior year, too, and Flowers was entering the season as a bona fide star.

He was really good.

One of our more underrated RBs IMO.

Great RB. Had more discipline playing for Ford than he did in pro career - regrettably lost his career.

Remember this play was key in beating Georgia in 1986.

3:53 left in a tie game, Clemson at their own 2 yard line with 12 yards to go for a 1st down...

which was a key play to setup Treadwell’s game winning field goal.

Terrence was on a couple of those great teams that I have previously said were taken from being National Championship teams to merely 10 win teams by havng ROD-NEY at QB. Put DW4, or even Tajh Boyd at QB, and those teams would have smoked the competition, even running Danny's offense.

Out of these RBs who were on the team at the same time (1984) Who played in the NFL and who had the most carries?

Stacy Driver
Steve Griffin
Terrance Flagler
Kenny Flowers

I think they all had at least a cup of coffee in the league.

I believe Flagler stuck around on the fringes longer than any of the rest of them?

I vividly remember than run at WF.....was listening to the game on the radio while helping my dad split wood........called by the GREAT....GREAT.....GREAT Jim Phillips. No one was better at putting us at the game through the radio....I would listen to Jim even AT the games and while watching on TV.
