They lost 2 on the day and gained 4. Still sitting at 11. Going 5-7 that’s not too much to cry about.

What 10 have they lost? If you are referring to 247 sports. 4 of them were in the year 2017 due to Jimbo leaving and one was January of this year. That’s not a fair assessment. Like I said even losing 5 with most of them being 3 stars is actually not that bad given their circumstances.

They lost OT Neal, # 20 Nationally, to Bama. He was down to FSU/Bama. While he had never committed, they were hopeful.
They are likely to lose QB Howell to UNC.
These things certainly don't help FSU in this battle.

24/7 composite has them at 14
24/7(Scout) has them at 22
ESPN has them at 18
Rivals has them at 13
These aren't at the same level they typically were under Jimbo, but that's still far and away the 2nd best in the ACC. NC State is the only other ACC teams near the top 25, and Miami is somewhere in the mid 30's depending on the specific service.

They still get credit for the 5 guys that are committed but unsigned who are some of their best prospects. There's a good chance they lose a bunch of them because it's going to be open season.
It's also not a class that addresses their needs very well for really the short or long term and has a few guys that are pretty overrated or at least maxed out already.

Both of the guys they lost were expected to go elsewhere. All things considered, they're doing so-so. But Clemson getting Tyler Davis from their backyard is the biggest loss of the day for them by far.

3 reasons why Putnam will be a Tiger.
1. Clemson commit would be a no-brainer.
2.Auburn coach on the hot seat.
3. Fla. State has lost their mojo.
