Knew when I read the writeup that someone would be critical or give advice. I'm sure he appreciates it.

With the money he's pulling in, it's like buying a pair of Nike's for us. If he wants to splurge, he's earned it.

Shoot I have a few pairs of work shoes that cost over $500. I'm no millionaire, and it hasn't sent me into poverty. As long as he is smart with his money and this isn't the norm but the occasional treat, it's a drop in the bucket for him.
High quality shoes are a better value in the long run vs cheap shoes anyway as they can be resoled and re worked to look brand new. **While the brand DW is wearing is more marketing/branding versus quality craftsmanship and not the best example of that.
Like my dad always said, "if it keeps you off the ground don't cheap out kid" this includes shoes/tires/mattresses.

Oh well, it was nice knowing you Deshaun.
Just kidding, if I can afford an occasional pair of $200 shoes, I'm sure this won't break Deshaun! We love you DW4 and anxiously but patiently(wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if they bring you along slowly) await your upcoming career!

You are better than that Deshaun.
Those things better have some feet warming mechanism inside the shoes come winter time...for $2000.
I wouldn't have spent that.

Hope he didn't skip the PAW Journey part of his education. Your money can get away from you in small ways! However, I do think he's earned the right to splurge a little.

Oh, kids these days. Thems are some fugly shoes. But what do I know, I'm a 49 year old fart! I suppose he deserves to splurge a little, as does Mile.

Come on Deshaun, you are smarter than that. Make that mistake often enough, and you will Wind up like some other big time, big money draftees who wound up shining shoes with only memories. Splurge a little, but show your brains and your class. You are much better than that.

I do ok for myself and am not above buying stuff at thrift stores. Shoes - would never buy a pair of used shoes - I realize you said that in jest.
I can see both sides of this arguement. Yes, it is his money and he has earned the right to spend it as he sees fit. I would argue they are shoes he can really only wear once - but I am 40 years old. I was frivolous with my money until my late 20s or so. So I understand his need to splurge on the biggest night of his life. Moving forward, I believe Watson is smart enough, and appreciates it enough, to make wise decisions finacially.

I see where he is coming from but the man has earned it. I buy a pair of Nikes or Jordans about once a year which is probably close to the equivalent with the money I make and him. Just do not see how our fans are criticising already. It is truly pathetic. I understand old timers but if you have ever seen DW without a uniform it is obvious he is into fsshion.

I don't get it? Did he get paid already or did his agent front him some money so he can look rich? No man needs $2000.00 shoes. That's Kim Kardashian territory.

$13 million. Just be wise with your money. $2,000 shoes isn't wise.

With a $13 million net worth, buying a pair of $2000 shoes is the equivalent of someone who makes $50000/yr buying a pair of shoes costing $7.69. Now as far as how they look...

People who make 50,000 per year are typically in debt. Shoes don't scale up. By that logic, his entire wardrobe will end up costing him half a million. Football careers could come to an abrupt end. Save the money.
