November 2011: South Carolina play-by-play announcer Todd Ellis is quoted after South Carolina's 34-13 win over Clemson: "As Coach Spurrier says, we might not be LSU or Alabama, but we ain't Clemson, folks."

Maybe Ellis was misquoted. Maybe Spurrier said that Scar wasn't LSU and Alabama and Ellis added the "but we ain't Clemson" to it. Either way, f em both.

Dabo had been doing a number of interviews and getting lots of good publicity for Clemson earlier that year. In an interview, Spurrier said that, "unlike that guy in the upstate, I don't have time to be doing all of those interviews. I'm a football coach. I don't have time for that stuff." The implication is clear.

I remember thinking how so typically nasty that was coming from Spurrier.

Only one other comment from Dabo regarding Universiy of South Caolina is better, and I quote " CLEMSON IS THE ONLY TEAM IN SOUTH CAROLINA TO WIN A BCS BOWL GAME". The 2 comments together are PRICELESS ! GO TIGERS!!!
