RC and Moonie Pie. Another great Clemson tradition. Because of great leaders like those two, we are what we are today. And I am not talking about the know it all t net coaches who gripe about everything they can't control!

before Congress in the late 50s in attmept soave Clemson from losing over 15,000 acres of valuable land to the construction of Lake Hartwell. The result was Clemson only lost about hlaf of the acreage as the Corps of Engineers constructed the #### that surround the west end of campus along the lake. A true champion for everythin Clemson. Clemson was his life. He was the president when I was a student in the 70s and a true leader!

Their personal home near downtown..looked liked present President's home since 2 story & white with columns..and they showed us around..then he told me how without the two dams he was able to get approval of..that the water level would have been over Littlejohn if it was built back then..and covering Death Valley..and up the road close to Fort Hill.

Yes , a Clemson "Couple" for Clemson..for sure!
