Have actually been a fan and hopeful for 2 years he would get in a game. We share the same last name and also from NY State. Both my daughters attend Clemson and have gotten pics with him on the field. Seems like a good kid. Go Godfrey!

I know some get bent out of shape when we don't have all 85 scholarships filled with recruited players but the 1-3 guys who get this experience each year is really awesome. I can't imagine the feelings even after Godfrey went through his story.
Also pretty cool that a guy from New York would have playing Clemson football as a dream. That Paw Power is real.


Isn't it likely a 1 year scholarship that opened up with a transfer?***
