So Bryant still isn't back??? Does our staff ever give a realistic return timeframe? When the injury happened mid August he said it should be a few weeks and hoped he would be back by Georgia Tech, now he's out half the season?

It always seems that when teams that we play have a player injured that player comes back the week, if not earlier than originally thought. When we have one it seems like he is out a few weeks longer.

One thing is for sure when Dabo talks about an injury it's like we need to add 3-4 weeks past his original assessment. These guys aren't going to be in game shape having missed so much time, who knows when we'll see them again.

Perhaps Dabo does not want our opponents to know exactly when a player will return or perhaps his crystal ball is broken in terms of knowing how quickly someone will heal.

If Dabo doesn't want opponents to know exactly when a player will return then why not make a policy like Bill Snyder and just don't discuss injuries? Nothing wrong with that.

As for his "crystal ball", the team has paid medical staff that gives him the assessments of recovery time. They aren't preforming open heart surgery here, these are common sports injuries that have typical recovery times. Yeah, it's not an exact science to know how each individual will respond, but to go from 3 games to 6 games is a big window.

Hopefully Bryant will be back 100% by FSU.
