I mean, it would be one thing if they were wearing something different than expected. But if they're gonna be as predictable as the sun rising, then why the tweets?

The uniform selection has become ROTE. I like the general inclination towards the traditional - orange and white at home most of the time, all white on the road more often than not. But the it's become a "strict" rule, with orange pants for "championship" games only (division, state, ACC, etc), and all purple for the military appreciation day. No purple any other time ever - no occasional purple pants with white jerseys on the road, no purple jerseys and white pants at home. No orange pants for other big matchups (no matter how big) unless they meet the strict championship criteria. Just rote. By the rules. So then the tweets are just superfluous. Faux suspense/excitement.
