from the eye test we’ve had the privilege of having last 6 years..Even with TL.
Something is missing but they are trying their best to be the best since they have been around greatness & want it.

Agreed. My dad and I discussed that. Good team. Good talent. Young offensive line. Young defensive line. Need more time to build and gel. Let’s stay Top-10 this year. Hope for the best.

No still top 4. But OSU and Bama are better this year at this point. This team seems to lack some fire.
There are some issues. The front 7 seems slow and does not get home. The oline cannot run block even a little. The injury bug has reared its ugly head. We were due given how lucky we have been on this run.
Honestly you could probably just put the current top 4 in and be good.

I have to agree. This is somewhat of a rebuilding year. We reload with a lot of talent but they are young and raw.
I do not think our OL is good enough yet. I think our D is very good when healthy.
I still think we win out but Bama and OSU look to be playing better now.
We generally play better stating late October. Injuries and illness are a big part of that but we are not firing on all cylinders.

If Cade Stewart is starting next year, we know the oline will be average again.

Yea, the best player in the nation and 4 defensive starters out.

We did have a lot missing, still should have won the game.

Not right now, but the injuries are significant. I feel good about a fully healthy d. Right now, the O-Line is the thing that will get us

Agreed but I would add that we aren't right now. By the end of the season we may have everything in place to finish number 1

We started the game 20/24 th of a No 1 team. (22 + kicker and punter - 4 starters = 5/6 th). Ended game as around 12/24th of a No 1 team! And that doesn't address the difference Justyn Ross would make! We need all healthy!

Nope, it's not. Even if the defense gets healthy and comes

together, the OL puts a ceiling on this team. I can see us beating ND in a rematch, but even so we are likely heading for a semi-final against Bama or OSU now, and we can't beat either one of them with zero running game.
