They run very similar in how they are able to burst through the hole, accelerate lightning quick, juke or spin off defenders and run through arm tackles.

I always liked Emmitt Smith but thought if Barry Sanders

If Barry had Smith's o line we'd probably have seen a 3000 yard rusher in at least one, if not more than one, season.

This is known***

They do not play anything like each other. Smith was not a speedster at all.

Each of Emmitt's thighs were the size of my torso.

I would say Smith is more like Feaster though Feaster is probably faster. I have seen no one who Etienne reminds me off.

Was Emmitt's top end ever elite? I'm asking not trolling

ET seems to have Sammy's acceleration and Spiller's top end. And Davis' ability to stay on his feet.

Google Emmitt Smith college highlights.

Sure! I think he played so long, he got 2-3 yards at a time

enough that I eventually forgot if he ever had the speed of an Etienne. He played like 10 times the length of a "normal" NFL RBs career.

Etienne appears to me to be a good deal faster than Smith ever was . Emmitt was tough to get a good hit on , he was a master at the shifty , last second comtortion that allowed him to make people either miss or just bounce off of him .

Feaster and Etienne remind me of back when we had Flagler and Flowers.

You are correct!

Etienne and Feaster remind me of Flagler and Flowers. Hard, fast runners that put fear in the defense.

Flagler left high school as the best RB in Florida history (I believe - I was 15 and that’s how I recall it). Had he not gotten stuck behind some very good, older RBs at Clemson and again in SF (Roger Craig) he would’ve been a household name. In his limited carries with SF, it seemed like he almost always went for big yardage.

I say we bring back the crown in the field and play Dannyball. Ah the memories.
