I noticed he was barely in the game last week after the 1st half. I expect him to be used early and often this Saturday and for him to have another huge day.

Everyone has been so focused on him they have been pretty good at shutting him down. Enter LJ Dixon, he is averaging more yards per carry if you take out the few big plays. I think the purpose is to show there are more than 1 player they have to scheme for and this will open things up a bit for ETN

He had over 100 yards last week and 200+ the week before I wouldn't say they shut him down by any means.

The 200 was against GT and one run was for 90 yards, hence my comment on excluding big plays. 100 yards for the aTm game and if you watched it wasn’t a dominant performance, more often than not it was for 3 and sometimes for a loss. They are all over him and bringing extra men to stop him

So do the 90 yards not count?
He had 12 carries for 205 yards, 3 TDs.
The 3 TD runs were for 90, 14, 48. Total, that is 152 yards on 3 runs. That means on the remaining 9 carries he ran for 53 yards, or an average of 5.89 ypc.
Even taking out the long runs, he had a solid day.
Of course A&M presented a bigger challenge, and keyed on stopping him, and they had the athletes to actually contain him and not allow the longer runs, hence a reduced stat line.

ETN is the greatest decoy in college football. They need to use him that way consistently.
I noticed early on against A&M a couple of his pass protection attempts were pathetic. Similar to his freshman year. If he can't pass block, his value as a decoy goes way down.
If he doesn't improve, he won't be a 3-down back in the NFL.
