CLEMSON BEGINS MARCH TO LOADED 2020 CLASS

Clemson won’t be able to sign a big class, but the group the defending national champs do bring in will have a chance to be pound for pound the best in the nation with a freak at every position. The Tigers are starting to trend on the 247Sports Crystal Ball for the nation’s No. 1 prospect, five-star defensive end Bryan Bresee, and have been considered the leader for quite some time regarding the top-ranked quarterback in the class in DJ Uiagalelei. As things stand right now, I could see Bresee and Uiagalelei battling each other for that No. 1 prospect spot with Uiagalelei currently checking in at No. 9. Other top targets for Clemson include the nation’s No. 1 receiver Julian Fleming, defensive lineman Jordan Burch and cornerback Fred Davis II, who all rank five-stars as well. The Tigers inked five five-stars, including Trevor Lawrence, in a smaller 2018 class and Dabo Swinney and his staff are in position to do something similar in 2020.

Thanks for that post. It certainly looks like next year could be our best class yet and that’s hard to believe considering what we have recently accomplished bringing in new guys. I believe this coming season will be one of our most important seasons to date. So much has been said and written about our defensive players for the last few years and so many of those players will not return next year that it is really important that the defense really stands out again this year. Without question the talent is in place for the Tigers to continue being a dominant team, offensively and defensively. The coaching is in place also so I don’t see the Tigers dropping in the rankings in 2019. It’s going to be a great year and it all starts to come together when spring ball begins next week. Go Tigers
