ETN Comparison

Who do you compare ETN to? To me, I see a lot of similarities to Eric Dickerson. He has the power to run through you if need be and earn those YAC, but the speed to break away from you at any time. The perfect combination for a running back IMO.

Maybe Barry Sanders? Don’t know, honestly I think he’ll become ETN and others will be compared to him.

Agree on Barry Sanders. But more of a clumsy Sanders.

Sanders never looked out of control. ETN looks a bit out of control sometimes but always rights himself. As he gets stronger I think he'll look smoother.

He reminds me a lot of Terry Allen.

And that is a huge compliment, because Terry Allen is the best RB we've ever had if you ask me. I think Etienne can surpass him.

I agree with Judge Keller - ETN is a faster Terry Allen

He runs using his upper thigh muscles the way Earl Campbell did when he was in college. The way he moves when he runs, turns or cuts he uses every part of his leg but keeps the major push coming from the sides of the upper thigh and that is the difference in him compared to most backs who use their upper calves muscles and glutes to push off for power.

The sky is the limit for ETN!

James Davis with an upgraded engine for faster acceleration and higher top speed.

Same build, but smaller than Bo Jackson, and nearly as fast.

He has the legs and balance of Maurice Jones Drew. Drew has a bigger upper body which may be good for durability but ETN has better speed with the same astounding balance and power.

Walter Payton

Just what I was thinking. Runs with the same drive to never go down and has the quickness and moves to be elusive.

Never thought about that, but that's not bad...
High praise though.

Jamaal Charles.

I don't see Bo, at all, but

The Payton comparison is good. I like the Sanders comparison, too, although the 'out of control' point has merit. The Earl Campbell style fits, too, but Earl was a big man! Travis has a bit of some of the greats qualities, but what strikes me is how low he's willing to bend his legs to maintain balance. He's quite remarkable, that's for sure!
