I don't watch the View. I don't watch MSNBC. I don't watch Fox opinion shows. I don't watch ESPN except for games. All these things are unwatchable to me.
There are so many other entertainment options available these days.

Well they have like 4 or 5 television networks, and live sports aren't typically going on 24/7 so yeah, you're going to get some shows where guys talk about their opinions on sports. I'm not sure why so many people run onto here each time they see something on ESPN they don't enjoy. Like, either watch it or don't.

Stopped going to ESPN.com years ago. The first page only had positive SEC posts. Not long after that I only watched ESPN for games only.
Also stopped watching the NFL, there are much better things to do with your time.

ESPN has copied most other networks in becoming so liberal and political that they are only good for watching games. No other commentary is worth wasting your time on.

Tried to watch one of the shows last week and got really stressed out listening to people argue the whole time. They need to go back to just showing repeat sports centers 8 times a day

I agree the talk shows aren't for everyone, but you really expect them to just show Sportscenter over and over on all 4-5 of their stations? I personally think Sportscenter or any show like it is outdated these days when a person has dozens of websites or social media places to get news, updates, and highlights of games without having to turn on Sportscenter and wait for the thing they're wanting to see.

I record the shows I may be interested in.
When I play them back I can fast forward through the commercials and the parts I don’t want to see or hear.
I record Game Day and start watching it at 10:00 am. The one hour delay usually washes out the crap and commercials.
CBS has a show with the “lugubrious” guy if you remember that is kinda laid back and is easier to watch IMO.
Dabo is going to be on Finebaum today. I will dvr that, ff to watch the
interview then delete it.

I like ESPN sometimes, but Stephen A and Max Kellerman are a bad team. They are so intense. I love watching Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless. They are a great team and I think they mellowed each other out. Then Colin Cowherd is great too. FS1 has better weekday sports talk shows. They are more relaxing and chill. ESPN was great with Mike & Mike. No more.

Guys and Gals. There is a wonderful device on all TVs and radios. It is designed for easy operation and some models do not require you to even move from your current position. When used at the proper time, it can relieve stress and associated frustrations. I would advise you to locate this simple device and use it often. Look for it on your TV and your radio. It's one of the most important words one can find. Look for OFF, I repeat, OFF, and press the dang thing. I can assure you your days will be filled with happy thoughts and your nights filled with restful sleep . If you will, at this moment heed my advice, it will save you the many years it took me to learn this simple trick.

Unless I am in some place like Sports Clips where TV is constantly showing something of no real importance I stopped watching ESPIN a long time ago other than for an actual game and then I use Clemson's network for the sound until halftime and post game.
Easy answer! Do not waste your time and stress out. It isn't worth it.
