Their national recruiting ranking over the last four recruiting cycles - 2015-2018 - based on the 247 composite is 48 and average recruit star rating is 3.06. This is essentially equivalent to NC State and Louisville and higher than the 2.9 values for Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Wake Forest and Boston College. Duke does have seven 4-star recruits over the 4 year cycle. Duke's numbers pale in comparison with Clemson's average recruit rating of 3.71 and 36 4-star and 11 5-star recruits. It is interesting to note that their super quarterback Daniel Jones was a 2-star dual out of high school (Charlotte). So - on paper Clemson is the overwhelming favorite - and I believe this will play out on Military Appreciation & Senior Day!!
