Dropping Oregon 8 spots is a power play to keep Utah out of the CFP.

And moving Baylor up 5 spots after beating crappy Texas is for Chokelahoma’s benefit.

CFP chair is Oregon AD. Is CFP bending over backward to look "fair"? 8 is a lot to drop. How does that square w Ga's horrendous home gaffe to the coots

Georgia has 2 wins against top 15 teams including over a team that beat Oregon. Oregon has zero wins against top 25 teams and has 2 losses.

Oregon has two losses and zero wins over top 25 teams.

What makes you think they should be highly ranked?

The fact that UGA's in @ 4 with a loss to UofSC at HOME invalidates the entire list for me.

Did you feel the same way in 2017 when we were #1 even though we lost to a 4-8 Syracuse team?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Oregon should drop. I’m not wanting them in. But dropping 8 spots seems a bit excessive.

Nov 26, 2019, 7:56 PM

I trying to see future moves with the committee as this crap unfolds.

And moving Baylor up 5 for beating a 6-5 team after dropping them 1 spot for beating a similar team the week before. Ummm... ok?

What surprises me is that Oregon drops 8 but

Nov 26, 2019, 7:46 PM

It has no effect on Auburn, who has benefitted all season from beating Oregon, or any of the SEC teams who beat Auburn (who beat Oregon). Now Oregon is a fraud but those quality wins are still valid?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

EXACTLY!

Nov 26, 2019, 7:49 PM

And if Bammer beats Allbarn they’ll use that as “logic” to move them to 4th.

Auburn has a 3 point loss on the road to #2 LSU, an 11 point loss on the road to #11 Florida, and a 7 point loss to #4 Georgia to go along with the win over Auburn. I don’t see where it’s unfair to have them at #15 based on that. What teams behind them have done more?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LSU may be legit but Georgia lost at home to SCAR

Nov 26, 2019, 8:02 PM

and looked like hot garbage last week. Florida has been unimpressive to me, and they are exactly one of the teams I was talking about..their only win was Auburn. And they probably should have lost to Miami AND SCAR.

Or...hear me out...

Nov 26, 2019, 7:51 PM

Maybe it’s because Oregon’s now got 2 losses and no really good wins and they haven’t looked super impressive in the wins they do have?
