To be fair Spiller made the Dean's list and got a 5 on the wonderlic going into the NFL
Yes he has the lowest score ever on the test
I think it is fair to say no matter how prestigious the institution or how pitiful the school, athletes do what they want and get by with either sham classes, questionable tutors, and some luck
Sure there are studs at Stanford with a 4.0 in Aerospace engineering but not many other places. one of the Rolle corner backs that went to FSU (not an academic powerhouse) actually deferred the NFL to go be a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, pretty big shoes to fill.
Overall the athlete going to class joke fits every institution and seems rather juvenile to think otehrwise

Is a 1.0 and students there are some of the stupidest people I've ever met. It may have not been like that back in the day but Florida state is terrible now, it's a school where people who can't get in anywhere else go, a purely athletic school, or a school that kids just want to go to party all time. Walk around Florida states campus, you will quickly see how much different clemson and Florida state are.

they say that Winston at FSU is a pre med student , also heard he had a chance to attend Stanford. he sure does come across as an idiot in interviews though.

He probably does not even want to play in a bowl. He cares only about $$$$. I honestly cant fault him for that. In all fairness to him, even though he is a Coot, if he gets hurt; he has a lot to lose.
