Divided locker room???

Sep 25, 2018, 10:48 PM

Don’t buy it.

Defense- Seniors Came back to win it all. Think they know a more potent offense helps that. Young guys know TL is their future.

Offense - The WRs probably realize TL throws better balls. Heck, watch the video CLEMSON Football put out on Twitter today. Amari and Tee both said “pretty throw by Trevor”. Old man of the group, Hunter, ultimate team guy.

Online - they’ve said they don’t care who is behind them.

RBs - they’re looking at more carries with TL in.

Sorry, I just don’t see the locker room fracturing over the QB decision. I’m sure they all love KB and want him to stay like all of us, but I don’t see this becoming an issue among the team.

Well quit saying that there's no divided locker room .

I don't think there is a divided locker room, but to play...

Devil's Advocate here, I will say your post is very logical. However, it doesn't address what we don't see everyday, and that is the personal relationship they have with KB as the leader of this team and as a friend versus their relationship with TL, which in comparison, is still new.

I've seen a lot of post that dismiss things these players do as "they're just kids", so if that's the case, Idk if we can approach this issue through their eyes as a business/professional decision that bears no emotional impact.

they will have to get over it

Sep 25, 2018, 11:19 PM

at the end of the day dabo cant let their feelings hijack the team

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, no doubt. But right or wrong, I don't think we can...

Sep 25, 2018, 11:32 PM

expect everyone to "get over it". That should be what's demanded, but it doesn't mean that's what all these guys will do.

Contrast what you’re saying here with the Darwinism in Tuscaloosa. Gonna take a certain mindset to become a threat to Bama on any sort of long term basis. We didn’t drum K.B. out of town in shame. We simply made a change at QB from one player to the next. It’s a team players creed to understand and accept this. Especially when Dabo has demonstrated a clear preference for K.B. up til this moment.

I think Dabo has created a culture that is very "team"...

over one's self. Whether players have issues with the move or not, I expect them all to go out and do their jobs Saturday.

He quit, pretty sure they don't consider him a leader now***

No way. These guys know it is their job to keep their job and in this case, as company men they know what is best for the company is best for them.

Kelly is standing there as it is just about me. That should tell anyone who questions things all they need to get past that, imo.

IF KB stayed, I could see a divided locker room... with him leaving, I think it will solidify quickly even with TL's downswings.
