Did Jim Mora ever recant?

Rewatching some of the Clemson hate prior to the NC. Jim Mora seemed to have an axe to grind (famously said before playoffs that he wasn’t sure Clemson should be in the top 5, and was a Bama homer during pregame). Just curious if anyone remembers seeing him eat his words.

just watched the long completion to Tee in the 1st (@2:20 in the video) again. what's funny is that Bama tried to confuse the freshman QB changing their defense to show a different look post-snap than pre-snap, dropping two extra guys back into coverage. Just like they whine about BV doing to Tua. Result, big play.
