I don't think he is intentionally tanking. I think he is just that bad as a coach. He does not have a clue as to how to be a head coach and motivate 18-year-olds.

He is not going broke as a coach and if he was successful $20 would not be that much. He just isn't equipped to handle the whole show. What is even better is that Ray Tanner is even less equipped to run a whole athletic department. Both were great at lesser roles but are over their heads now. It's a great thing to watch.

Tanking implies that he's losing to lesser than opponents

I think the UNC game was a toss up from the beginning and the Missouri game i did not expect them to win anyway. So I'd say he's right on par with where he should be.Winning either of those two would then be considered overachieving.

Remember, this is South Carolina Football we're talking about. This is not a contender for the SEC east or anything. I'd say kentucky is a toss up (i think they win). UGA/Loss, UF/Loss, UT/toss up, Vandy/Win, AppSt/toss up,ATM/Loss, CLEM/Loss.

So they've got 4 guaranteed losses remaining. (Possibly 7 losses remaining) and (1) guaranteed win (VAndy)

best case scenario they finish 5-7
worst case scenario they finish 2-10

My guess is they go 4-8.
