Would actually make for a durn good combo, and it'd intrigue the heck outta me if I was in the Falcons' front office.

Jarrett's a 3-tech...I remember telling anybody who would listen, actually, that he was a carbon-copy clone of former Hall of Famer John Randle, who played for the Vikes back in the day, and I said then that the Falcons were getting the absolute steal of the draft. There were all these guards and centers who couldn't block Jarrett in college going in the second and third round, and I remember wondering how on Earth Jarrett had somehow lasted until the fifth round.

Were these guys suddenly supposed to be able to block Jarrett because they were wearing different jerseys in the NFL? I didn't get that, I really didn't.

But you put Jarrett with a dedicated 1-tech pocket crusher like Dexter Lawrence, who can tie up and control two blockers, and he'll get even more dangerous. That's where the Falcons get to having one of the best DL's in the entire NFL.

of him not even going in the 1st round - which seems crazy. Even with Jeffrey Simmons being injured and slipping, there's still just so many elite DL in this class.

Along with Dex and Jeffrey Simmons that's 11 guys that are probably all worthy of going in the first round.
