Decision For Recruits

Jan 21, 2015, 12:19 AM

if anyone can answer this, please do. if OBS hired and fired some staff after nsd, do the recruits have to honor their sh1tty choice? if a recruit signs, based on good faith, that the person that recruited them would be there - and the entire time it was a ruse by OBS. does the recruit have the right to leave without having to sit out a yr? because it would not surprise me that those ##### bags would pull a number on these kids.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Sadly , yes . If a recruit signs his letter of intent then he must honor it . Look at it as a binding contract . If a recruit breaks that contract , then yes he must sit out a year .

The recruits do not have to sign on that day. It is the first day that they are allowed to sign. They can wait and see what is going to happen then sign with the school. They just have to sign before they show up for school.

If they're dumb enough to commit there is the first place

One commits to a school, not a coach. People get upset about

this. I don't empathize with them though. In my opinion, allowing student athletes to transfer without penalty would basically create free agency in the college ranks.
Also, only so many hours can be transferred toward a major anyway.

I have no problem with students being allowed to leave without penalty following the uncovering of major corruption. The Penn St deal is a good example, and had UNC actually been punished, that would have worked too.

Say what you want about what the universities make, but these kids are well taken care of. If Clemson is committing to them, i think it reasonable for them to remain committed to Clemson regardless of coach.

Well, thats the rub. Sometimes, kids are blinded to the school, and only go because of a particular coach, and this is what differentiates Clemson from usuck. There is more to Clemson football than just football. The only thing to usuck football is spurlid.
