Darnell Jefferies???

Has anyone heard anything on him. He hasn't played a single snap yet, but hasn't been declared as a redshirt yet either. Do you think we maybe use him in the post season to add depth? From what I heard in the Spring, he was a ready out of the box type of player and already had solid technique and great athletic ability. Also from what I gather, he was basically a natural at the DT position and that his Football IQ was special. I'm just curious as to what will be happening with him before the season ends.

Read somewhere that he might redshirt. Good theory that they are saving him till later this season to get snaps. Maybe needed more then.

Had to develop a bit more physically but someone they are pleased with. Think they want to get Kelly and Williams more game reps to get them more acclimated to playing inside and there’s only so many snaps. He’s a guy that will have to fight for reps next year with some of the other guys coming in.

Plus I believe he's the player with the sense
of humor that had the coaches and players laughing
during recruiting visits. He should be a team and
fan favorite in the next couple years, especially
if he works hard and becomes a good player.
