Dabo Swinney is light years beyond Saban.

A class act! Hearing the Press Conference and his affection for his players and the way he's dealing with "personnel" issues speaks volumes about his care for them as individuals.

Can you imagine how Saban would have handled this? I know he has with Hurt and Tua but I bet it wasn't with the heart felt compassion like Coach Swinney.

I was thinking about this earlier today.

Hurt said, “Nobody asked me what I thought”.
Do you suppose that he lied about that or do you suppose that nobody asked him? I suspect no one asked him anything. That’s called indifference.

Dabo said, “We had a long, deep, emotional conversation”, and, “yesterday was not a good day to be a coach”. That’s called compassion.

Those 2 situations tell the story of the difference between Bama & Clemson. I think we all suspected it already, but this makes it clear to me. Which situation would you want your child to be in?
