DT Memorial Stadium Memory 1991

All the Bi-Lo talk made me remember an experience I had with at least 1-2 of you TNETERS. I'm pretty sure it was the Temple game and I had scored some suite tickets via a connection at Coca Cola.

4 or 5 of us get to the game early and get in the box which had open bar and we quickly proceed to put a hurtin on all the booze and are quite rowdy watching the game. About midway into the 1st quarter this snarky exec type comes in and is not thrilled that we have the tickets in one of Coke's booths and are having too good a time. Well he comes back at 1/2 time and locks all the booze in the cabinet under the sink. We still had all the food and I think some beer.

Once that beer was gone, an unnamed TNETER found access to the hard liquor again which we proceeded to finish and continue to annoy all the suite snobs. The next week I get a call from the guy who got us tickets and told me we had really pissed the Coke guy off. The guy who got us the tickets never liked that Coke guy anyhow so nothing ever came of it. How does Bi-Lo play into it? I remember puking cheap Bi-Lo Ripple chips later that night.

I know that coke guy, his 1st name was Michael and he liked to Clap ????. I wasn’t an angel in ‘91 that’s for sure.
