Coots say order restored?

Jun 9, 2016, 8:42 AM

How bout these apples?

Clemson leads all time baseball 174-136-2

Clemson leads all time football 67-42-4

Coots let me break this down slowly so you can understand. You're a 2nd rate program with 3rd rate academics. We're your daddy's and we will always own you.

This house is clear.....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd say 6th rate program with 7th rate academics

You contribute next to nothing of substance to this board and I offer your above post as proof extant. To expect treatment any different than opposing fans receive on that vulgar cesspool fgf only underscores your chickendelusion.

In the grand scheme of money making, (IMPORTANT sports sanctioned by the NCAA) baseball is a distant 3rd and considering the newly found tv market for girl's softball, another sport may be gaining on it. Baseball is "relevant" to a handful of schools....and considering how its dropped off on the long-dominant West Coast, it may be even less so. Baseball is relevant to you clowns because you were successful at it after throwing millions of dollars at such a minor sport with little chance of more than a small return of monetary investment

Regardless of chickenopinions of "relevance", I invite you to ask any sports fan NOT from the Southeastern US who is relevant in collegiate sports....Clemson or usuck....you won't have to wait long for your answer

well....the Tigers took 2 out of 3 from the chickens, won

Jun 9, 2016, 11:42 AM

the ACC Tournament, earned the right to host a regional and a national seed.....all this while in a rebuilding year (by nearly EVERY analyst's opinion) under a first-year coach who had to hustle to retain commitments to the previous coaching staff and didn't have long to get out, press the flesh, knock on doors, etc, for his own recruiting

But the Tigers played a better team and lost their regional...and while true Clemson baseball fans (I've been attending and closely following Tiger baseball since the 1950's) will keep an eye narrowed towards Omaha and tournament play there, none of us entertain the delusion that baseball is more relevant than football or basketball to the national audience....Clemson baseball has always been something of a cult-classic for the truly dedicated baseball and Tiger fans since the days of a couple of 100 fans sitting on wooden bleachers on the old field (where the tennis courts are now).......even today, Clemson gloriously remains in a somewhat "rural" area and not in a city where huge numbers of fans are available....

your team is still playing and headed for the super this weekend. Maybe the loud rancorous chickenfans calling for your coach's firing will ease up if they win---capturing that dubious "SEC East" crown certainly didn't seem to help

I guess you could say we were all surprised and please about how well coach Lee brought our baseball back from despair in his first season. And yes we were happy about that and look forward to him bringing the program back to what it once was and further!!! And we are all feeling that coach Lee maybe better than the baseball coach that Tanner hired to run your program. Agree, Confessed isn't so bad for a guy with misguided loyalty :) I have to say with all due credit that the Chickens have an extremely good baseball program. I believe in a few years coach ML will have our boys right where they need to be, and we were way ahead of the curve this year. Im thrilled with the season, while last I checked, 75% of FGF wants to fire Holbrook. I think deep down they know they drew an easy lineup, and we will see if they are for real now against Ok St. Either way, if you look into the future, I like our odds in FB, and basball going forward.

I don't think that group can be embarrassed. They are insignificant in everything.. Decent baseball team, but horrible academics, crappy stadium, no original traditions., they run through fire extinguishers like many others, play a song from an old movie on entrance, play sandstorm copying ACC Va tech. They don't have a fight song. They pull for a chicken in a dress. Their band are rude, crude, nasty and obscene. They had 2 good years of football in their existence and several good years in baseball.
