This is nothing new. He has routinely thrown his players under the bus in the past with comments like these. His supporters will say it’s him being honest. I’ll say it’s a sure fire way to further weaken team morale to a squad that’s in a bad funk. We were all told that his was his most talented team ever at Clemson. The excuses are well past worn.

What a pos. They are his players he recruited them.
Maybe this is the problem, he needs to take responsibility for his coaching and recruiting instead of putting his players down.
If I was the AD, I would have interrupted the press conference and fired him on the spot.
