Clowney vs Bryant?

Let's be honest. Clowney did squat last year. Less than 5 sacks. If the NFL drafts nfl potential why hasn't a team taken him. 6'5, 4.3 40. He has hand issues at times but clowney has drive issues. Makes no sense to me at times how the operate. Not saying he was 1st round talent but worth a shot in the 3rd for sure.

First off your numbers are off on Bryant

Pro - 6'4, 4.45

Con - Only runs one route, has issues with his hands, has questions about his work ethic, questions about his toughness, at one point this year was essentially passed on the depth chart by Mike Williams, didn't put up big numbers in a pass happy offense.

Clowney is freak of nature. Sorry, I don't like him either, but it's the truth. Comparing the two may be one of the dumber things I've seen in a while.

Only comparing physical traits. NFL believes they can coach anyone that's why they focus so much on height, speed, etc. In that department Bryant shines. Not disagreeing clowney is a beast. Listen and read before you call out stupid bud.

Bryant has issues, but fixable.

Sorry man, Clowney put up very similar speed numbers as Bryant, and Clowney weighs 266 pounds.

Bryant:
4.42
39 inch vert
124 inch broad jump
7.10 3 cone

Clowney
4.53
37.5 inch vert
124 inch broad jump
7.27 cone drill

Again, Bryant is putting these numbers up at 210 and Clowney is putting them up at 265.

I can only say this - I have yet to see ANYONE cover Bryant. That includes CLEMSON players in any video I've ever seen. For me - I like the guy and would consider Bryant an absolute steal at this point in the draft.

Of course, I'd throw Breeland and Boyd into that 'steal' category about right now (late 3rd round).
