Cle’s barrel roll question

Is that illegal? I haven’t heard anyone actually explain that ruling. The commentators didn’t touch it, unsurprisingly. And Dabo just said he didn’t know that it was illegal. Does anyone know the actual rule on this topic?

Player(s) aligned in a stationary position within one yard of the line of scrimmage may not make quick, abrupt or exaggerated actions that are not part of normal defensive player movement. (A.R. 7-1-5:IV)

It's a rule that allows a little bit of subjectivity. Clelin went above and beyond anything that would be borderline subjective. lol

a pretty freakin' cool move. Blame it on "irrational exuberance", I suppose. Kinda' like CW42 and his Heisman pose, which countless ball players have struck over the years when scoring a td, apparently you just can't get too excited under any circumstances, especially if you're playing an SEC door mat with SEC ref's.
