Clemson 2015 schedule is going to be non-stop challenging

after the first 2 games to start the season. During the following 11 weeks, you have 10 games against 9 good to very good opponents and only one probable very easy game against WF. Assuming you schedule your bye before GT, your schedule is going to be brutal.
Whoever scheduled consecutive cupcake to start the season must have been sleepwalking. Check it out. It appears there's no easy solution to scheduling your ACC games in 2015.

Yep going to be a grueling season that will really ready our depth. We will find out if we really are too deep.

We will be ok. The Syracuse game will also be easy. We get BC FSU GT ND at home. USC jr is also a cupcake. Hope a coot lurker finds that gem and takes it back to FGF.

about our "difficult" schedule--they're still upset about all their recruits de-committing)

If DW can stay healthy, I think we make it look easy. Our offense will most likely be the best in the country next year.

I suspect the early-season cupcakes scheduling

was a result of contracts being signed several years ago, before the ACC adopted the SEC's "schedule a cupcake [or an idle week] before playing your archrival" model. So, hopefully with that in mind, the ACC will give us a break and schedule someone easy for our next-to-last game, like Wake or Syracuse or BC.

FSU has 3 cupcakes scheduled in the 1st, 4th and 12th weeks. The last one being before the FL game. FSU's schedule could be very favorable but it remains to be seen. Expect we'll request our bye before GT.
It appears the very earliest FSU and Clemson will play will be week 6 (Oct 10th) but more likely will be later to create more national focus, maybe with both of us undefeated. Once again, the Atlantic will likely be decided by the winner of our game, and IMO the winner will need some excellent play from some Freshmen and Sophomores and we'll both have many good ones on the field. This should be a great year for both programs and a great game at your house.

Agree with us not having a solution for a non-brutal schedule

The 2 cake games to kickoff the season, however will give deshaun's knee as many days to finish rehabbing and strengthening it.
Also will give Cain and RRM3 the opportunity to showcase their talents and earn more significant playing time, if not a starting role by the time our schedule picks up.
Gives Wilkins, Huggins and Fields plenty of live action so they can be shoed-in for lots of snaps come nut-cutting time, as well.
Oh, and our O-line gets sorted out with time to gel with each other.
After that, will be brutal but the rookie mistakes will already have been made, addressed and corrected - and we'll be ready to roll.

And yeah, I could see us scheduling a cuse or wake after the ND game or requesting a bye

Would rather play FSU sooner than later... don't want your QB gaining too much confidence before stepping foot in the valley.
and hope to get FSU after.
We can all agree that Jameous was a once in a quarter century type talent. The perfectly place throw for Benjamin to high-point the ball right after our turnover was when I knew the kid was legit. Also didn't like seeing how loose he was in the locker room pre-game. Also didn't help that your bye was before our game and we played an ACC opponent before yours. Oh well, national championship squad. Here's to this year being a better game.
