Well that just makes no sense. They sell coffee and hot chocolate on cold days. At those prices I encourage you to spend your money wisely. ;)

I was at a Broadway show in NY with my family and gave my son a $20 to get a coke and he gave me back $10 in change. It was a 12 ounce cup full of ice and a little bit of Coke. It's called a how to take advantage of a captive customer.

They have water fountains or you can bring your unopened bottle in the gate...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yeah, cause when its 95 I only need 1 bottle of water in 4

Apr 16, 2014, 9:51 PM

Hours...

seriously they'd make plenty selling them for a buck.

Well actually it's free

Apr 16, 2014, 9:50 PM

Not only can you legally bring your own water in water is available and completely free in the stadium. All you have to do is go to the bathroom, water fountains, or first aid areas; all have water available.

But how am I supposed to find an excuse to gripe while still enjoying water taken directly from the springs of the Andes?

who, outside of fans in Willy Brice, drinks bathroom water?***

Re: who, outside of fans in Willy Brice, drinks bathroom water?***

Apr 16, 2014, 10:11 PM

Better to drink the bathroom water from our own Memorial Stadium than to drink the bathroom water from the Coca Cola bottling facility.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The fountains in the bathrooms are the worst.

Apr 16, 2014, 11:08 PM [ in reply to Well actually it's free ]

They're at waist level, so you have to get on your knees to reach them, and that puts the "on" handle almost out of reach over your head. And what's up with the pink disk in each fountain? Don't even ask about the lemonade fountains, never enough sugar and it's usually warm.

"I've played multiple sports and would bet any amount that I'm still more athletic than you at this present time...."

So you are saying that they don't sell water for $4 a bottle

Apr 17, 2014, 7:29 AM [ in reply to Well actually it's free ]

That's awesome news! They used to gig us good at the concession stands.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They do sell bottled water for $4; however, if you're savvy,

Apr 17, 2014, 7:57 AM

you can get ice-cold water at the First Aid stations for free. It helps to have a bottle to put it in, but they do provide 8 or 10 oz gatorade cups. Having the First Aid station literally just on the other side of the wall of my seat's portal is one of the very few things I like about my seats.

Blame Aramark

Apr 17, 2014, 7:20 AM

same at baseball games. At least there are water fountains. And no, I will not pay $4 for water. A gallon is either 64 or 128 ounces, so a gallon costs either $21.33 or $42.67 per gallon. There would be a revolt if gas prices were that high. I believe a gallon is 128 ounces, but I would be ridiculed by the children with nothing better to do than google all day long if I was wrong.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Somebody signed that Aramark contract... They are to blame.***

Seems these oil companies doing all this fracking have it backwards. They're pumping stuff into the ground that sells for $4.00 a bottle to extract stuff that sells for $4.00 a gallon.
