Can our DB's shut down Calvin Ridley ?

From the Bama games I've seen, Ridley gets loose early and starts Bama's momentum.
If Clemson can take away Ridley, Bama becomes more vulnerable.

I think Travon would line up on him in most every instance.

if they try to put him in single coverage. I have no doubt Travon will be able to handle him as he's taller, same weight and just a step faster (4.40 vs 4.43). Seeing Travon cover people, I would give a strength edge to him over Ridley as well. Ridley is not physical at all.
If they tried to put him elsewhere on the field, I like the fact he's not extremely tall (6'1") and Ryan Carter or Mark fields would be able to cover as well.
In the instance we have to roll a safety over top, I do like Tanner Muse & Van Smith's speed to close quickly. And, with Tanner at 4.32 & 225 lbs would definitely give Ridley problems.
We've already faced the best WR duo in the country in Steve Ishmael & Ervin Phillips, and I think we learned a LOT about our DB's and how to scheme with them since then.

I think our guys match up pretty well with him. Nothing extra needs to be done, imo. He's a great player but he's no Julio or Cooper.

top 8 teams in the final CFP rankings. Neither Bama nor Miami will have that kind of resume if they don't win their conference. OSU also got in ahead of a team from their own conference. You are proposing two teams from the same conference (either SEC or ACC).

We only ran 4-5 plays on defense last year. We didn't have to do anything exotic.
Shut the run game down, just like we did last year in the 2nd half.
Get pressure with our front four.
Force Hurt to throw into a variety of coverages as we drop into coverage.
Play disciplined, especially vs the TE and backs coming out of the back field.
