Can any locals help with a Cotton bowl question

My daughter and I are flying into love field Friday afternoon. Wondering what would be the best area to stay in proximity to the airport and AT&T. Looking for a couple nice restaurants and bars to pregame the next day. We will be ubering so want to keep things fairly close. Any help would be greatly appreciate it

Stay in Grapevine. Tons of restaurants and bars and a short Uber ride to the stadium. Dallas Love is in downtown and about half hour from Stadium. Uber will be in high demand after the game and probably double what you pay to get there. After the game you can walk to Texas Live and let the traffic and crowd die down before heading home.

If you were flying into DFW, I would definitely say Grapevine. But flying into Love, I would look for hotels in Arlington (first choice, right by the stadium) or downtown Dallas (get a Gameday bus transfer because Uber is insane after a big game).
