We are loaded at wide receiver and we have the best two QB’s ever on a College football team. We are more than ok.

We would love to have Troy anytime but we have incredible talent on this offense. ETN is back and Bowman is in the house.

I worried when we lost 3 players prior to the playoffs 2 years ago. I learned from that, not to worry. Ross will be missed however.

We just need the young guys to step up this year.

In addition, Braden Galloway is back for a true passing threat at TE. We saw glimpses of his potential in the National Championship game.

It’s easy to forget Ross was a Freshmen just the year before with an amazing year. We have guys with the same talent that didn’t play as much as freshmen last year just because Ross and Tee were ahead of them... We have plenty of WR talent.

I dont think people in this thread realize that we are one injury away from Will Swinney playing meaningful snaps.

We have plenty of depth at receiver before Swinney plays.

X (Boundary) Depth
Joseph Ngata
EJ Williams*
Ajou Ajou

Y (Slot) Depth
Cornell Powell
Brannon Spector

Z (Field) Depth
Amari Rodgers
Frank Ladson Jr.
EJ Williams*

For purposes of getting the best three on the field, you may very well see Rodgers shift to take snaps at the Y position, moving Ladson into a starting role at Z. Williams was originally projected as a Z guy, but his size likely puts him in a battle with Ajou Ajou in fall camp for the backup role at X.

If push comes to shove and things get really ugly, the staff can always look at Derion Kendrick at receiver as well...possibly play him both ways.

Ross will be missed, but we'll be just fine.
