The other two are embarrassing.

Although I don't know what a "national university" is.

I don't really like any of them. The smaller writing gets lost.
Make it:
CLEMSON
"A Home In The Hills"
(Or whatever.)

To someone that's not familiar with Clemson and the hills, that sounds kind of hillbillyish....

is this only to be used here?--- not sure SC colleges/universities are our main competition

I agree..I think 3 is prob the best of those but I agree that it should be more nationally focused...duh we are the best school academically in SC LOL That is a given...

Need to have more of a national message

I think it's pretty obvious to anyone growing up in SC that it is the best school in the state. We need to compete to keep the best in state away from bigger names (I'm talking the Dukes, WF, Vandy type schools), while also recruiting good out of state talent . I think the in state scholarships we offer are great. I chose Clemson over Ga Tech, Miami, and ND bc it was essentially free to go to Clemson and it was a great mix of academics and social life.

I'll Take 3...With 1 Coming In Second ----

I like the TV spot - especially compared to previous years.

And agree the slogan needs to be more nationally oriented.
