Bridge Program

Feb 13, 2018, 10:53 AM

I don't understand the complaints about the bridge Program. As someone who graduated in '16 but did not bridge, I definitely find it more of a benefit than a negative. All I did was spend more money to live in junky freshman dorms, and take light-years harder gen Ed classes. I know for a lot of you, your pride is hurt but it shouldn't be. You got fastracked to one of the best universities in the country, and the best in the state. Get over it, take the bridge, and move on. If an opportunity like this goes wasted because of pride, Clemson might not be the place for you.

Sounds like Bridge is keeping out the snowflakes.

The whiners and complainers who get their feelings hurt.

Just another great part of the Bridge Program.

I did Bridge my freshman year and can confirm it really is a great program. Helps get your overall GPA up too so you can save your life scholarship if you screw up in a couple of Clemson classes. Would definitely recommend.

I made a suggestion of a board for those posts yesterday,

but it wasn't well received.

I think I was a little too harsh on the whiners though. It's amazing how the parents of some snowflakes sound an awful lot like snowflakes.

I did the same...

I made somewhat of a lighthearted post over it yesterday too, but now the butthurt is getting out of hand. So much entitlement

Parents just cannot accept the fact that their child might be....*GASP*..... average!

It's a scam that allows lesser students to "attend" Clemson

and it keeps Clemson's coffers filled. A joke of a program.
