I would love to see him associated with the program in some fashion.
However, there is an old adage that states that "those who can, do. Those who can't, coach/teach"

History has shown that the great talents have not had much success at coaching/teaching. The reason may be that they have such immense natural talent that they cannot relate to an average athlete and therefore not translate talent to teaching.

don't get me wrong, I would welcome the experiment.

in the NBA. ON THE OTHER HAND----I'd have to give Dawkins every chance possible to improve the Tigers. Obviously there has been a serious 'disconnect' between coaches & players in the past couple of years.
