I don't get taking him in the first at all. Three career TD's (probably Jakeypoo's fault) and leaving baseball due to the yipps would make me nervous about his ability to thrive in clutch situations when the pressure is on. Guy is also 4 months older than Eric Ebron who probably would have looked a lot better last season playing against Tenn and Vandy than playing against the Vikings and the Bears.

You're right he's 4 months younger, not older.
Still think Hurst, Penny, and Terrel Edmunds were all huge 1st round reaches.

I'm happy for the guy. He floundered in the minor leagues, came back to school in his 20's and was disciplined enough to work hard in a mediocre program. To be 25 and still be in school and working to get drafted says a lot. He seems like a good kid.
I can set the rivalry aside when it comes to individuals getting a chance to chase a dream. I was talking with a #### fan who attended the same high school as one of our players and I said "regardless of school, you have to be proud of the kid." His response was "I don't care if he attended the same high school, I will never root for the kid to be successful." That's straight garbage.
