Best place to watch the game in downtown Greenville, SC?...

Oct 20, 2020, 1:08 PM

Not doing games/tailgating this year so DV is out. Coming up for youngest daughter's ring ceremony.

Right now thinking Carolina Ale House, upstairs & outside.

Probably somebody's house with a sweet TV/audio setup.

I wouldn't advise just walking in unless you knock first though.

I would recommend Up on the roof. https://eatupdrinkup.net/

Been here a couple of times, service was excellent and food was very good. Drinks are pricey but this is happening all over GVL. Tough to beat this spot at sunset.

You could see if FM's tub is available

Carolina Ale House is probably one of the WORST places to go

in Downtown Greenville.

OTHER than the beer selection being pretty decent - that place is the worst.

The last 3 times we were there, I swore we would never go back . . . . TERRIBLE service - TERRIBLE food - 2 of the 3 times there was almost a fight (one did turn into a scuffle & the cops were called in) . . .

Seriously - nothing good to say about that place. All the food comes out of the freezer & goes into the fryer.

And did I mention the service ?

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Noted...been a few times and liked the beer list, food was

typical bar food. It's close to our hotel. May give a brewery a shot.

Up on the Roof is nice - fancier. Yeehaw Brewing is close

and the beer is OK and the food is decent & there is a pretty big outdoor area.

We like Barley's - decent pizza & calzones, etc and a really good beer list. They don't have a ton of TV's but I'm sure the game will be on there. And it is close by where you are talking about.

Fatz, Ruby Tuesday’s, TGIFridays or Cracker Barrel are our go to. When we have coupons.

could you post the addresses for each of these places in Downtown Greenville, BloodBe ?

Would be very helpful - almost cutigerbob®-like some might say.
