A LARGE reason we won it all.

I disagree. Yes he was a part, large part, no. Ben boulware has a great attitude and leadership but he was terrible in coverage. He was to much of a one sided player. It’s the reason he is not playing on Sunday.

Ben Boulware made some season-saving plays for us. If you consider his entire talent package, then you're right--he was terrible in coverage. But he did things that were directly related to us winning the championship, and was a major contributor in that way. We would not have gotten there without him.

Exactly.

But his instincts and football aptitude kept him on thefield

Apr 26, 2018, 3:31 PM [ in reply to Re: Yes. ]

his deficiencies in coverage had to do with lack of length and change of direction speed. maybe not lack of but in comparison to his counterparts (dudes that run a 4.4). But you can't say wasn't a necessary peace b/c you can measure leadership with a stat. Take a leader off a team and you'll get just a bunch of athletes that lack passion and passion is what will win big/close games. He was a huge reason for our run and got results. He had a knack for finding the ball and tackling. He knew football.

The NFL is tough for him b/c now his physical deficiencies are that much more magnified. Competition is faster, taller, stronger, and smarter. And if you're lacking the necessary attributes to combat that you are going to be looked over by scouts.

Samuel L. Jackson said "Maybe if we underpaid these modern mumble rappers and overpaid teachers there would be smarter people in the future and less ###### music.”

Music was horrible, but great compilation of his play. Awesome player, can’t believe he’s not playing on Sundays.

My favourite was the penalty for “tackling too hard”.
