What about the AB when he reached on an error - guess that's not considered as an AB but is it figured into the OBP since he did get on base? tia.

The op was not intended to prove nor disprove anything. It was to inform fans of Beers progress thus far! It may be silly to you but many fans would like to know how one of our guys is doing this far! Or at least, I thought so.

Yes, thanks for that. I love that milb website.
The OBP of .429 is due to a HBP that does not show up in official stats (which is ridiculous).
However, tonight Seth went 0-fer again, with a walk. He now has 4 Ks to match his 4BBs and is rarely hitting the ball to the right side.
On the other hand, the team is 2-2 while hitting about .185, so it seems to be a pitching-strong league. Seth's avg is now below .150. But give him time. He'll come around.
