Baseline assumption on cancelling P5 is flat wrong....

Aug 10, 2020, 2:39 PM

It seems like people honestly think young people won’t catch Covid-19 if they don’t play football...

Seriously????
You thinks all these kids are just going to huddle at home and social distance???
Nope - they aren’t ...they’ll catch it either way ...

At least football players will be tested regularly...
Without football how often you think these kids will be tested for COVID-19??

It’s not about player safety ...it’s about liability...

Let them play...
But no fans... the old folks in the stands are far more at risk than the players...

statement like that and you're bound to trigger and receive some TDs.

It's more about perception than reality, just as going into

a restaurant with a mask and taking it off is more for how you are perceived than any actual effectiveness.

Common sense would come to the conclusion you laid out, but how the situation is viewed is more important to the powers that be.

at some point ya gotta start getting back to normalcy, right

the more we sit back and wait the more gov't will dictate to us how our lives are to be ran. basketball is on tv, baseball is on tv, i mean college football should be the next to be played. if its no fans its no fans..but you can't just squash the whole idea bc of fear of the unknown. Lead!

covid is never going away... so are we just done living?

It’s the same reason my company still has all of us working from home. If any of us happen to get it then our company doesn’t want to be the cause.

I been saying this for weeks - this is a whole other discussion (and much more possible) as soon as you agree to keep fans from congregating at the ball parks.
