Bama/Oregon

Nov 11, 2019, 12:25 PM

Will the committee use accomplishments and put Oregon in, or say “we think” Bama is better and put them in?

If UGA beats Auburn this weekend, then they will not be a top 15 win for Bama.

Clemson

"no 'i'"

Sure, we are the Tigers and a University, but the way the CFP folks think, Bama is spelled Alabamississippi - lot of "i"s

If Oregon and Utah both have 1 L going into the champ game I believe the winner will be in over Bama.

I'm assuming your scenario is a 1-loss Bama vs a 1-loss Pac-12 champ Oregon...correct? If so, per the committee protocol the tie-breaker in the room is suppose to go to Oregon. Although, Oregon would have lost to Auburn and Bama (in your situation) would have beaten Auburn. The protocol states:

Strength of schedule, head?to?head competition and championships won must be specifically applied as tie?breakers between teams that look similar

But I don't think Bama beats Auburn. I'm not sure UGA beats Auburn either. And I kinda think Utah beats Oregon. So much chaos....so little time....
