So far, all draft choices in the top 6 rounds have signed. Monte's first year may truly be a rebuilding one.

Our recruiting will be much improved under Lee IMO. It had obviously fallen off under Leggett, which was not ALL of his fault with scholarship limitations, tuition issues in SC, etc. With that said, Leggett's dip in success and his reputation with SC coaches played a big role too. I'm not sure if you have researched Lee much (Google, YouTube), but his leadership qualities seem off the charts. I felt the same when we hired Dabo. Guys just got it.

Especially when the head coach does little to no recruiting. Almost ALL Of it is done by the coordinator (Bradley)and the head coach usually only gets involved for home visits for important recruits and the conversations and tours that go on when the player is on campus

Yep, the head coach is basically the closer. And, as you know first hand, Jack is a heck of a closer. But, I am sure Monte will be as well.

Unless things have changed recently, the NCAA rules only allow two guys to be recruiting off campus at any given time. This will usually be the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach. But, Jack did attend some of the bigger tournaments/showcases. Monte will probably do the same.
