As a former Clemson Cheerleader, how to yell loudly for the

whole game without losing your voice. Because we may need our voices late in the 4th quarter.
1) Make more of an "ohhhhhhhh" sound. If you scream or screech you will lose your voice by the end of the first quarter.
2) Drink lots of fluids so your throat doesn't get dry.
3) Bring candy, cough drops if you typically lose your voice yelling.
4) Don't just yell when they approach the line of scrimmage, we can be more disruptive if we yell when they are in a huddle, but most especially if they are foolishly trying to change the play at the line of scrimmage.
4a) To keep a long sustained roar, take deep breaths when the play is dead up until the huddle or lining up of the next play if no huddle.
5) They will get an occasional good play. Don't give up on your yelling! This should only steel our resolve! If they make a good play they will be thinking, "good we are taking the crowd out of it!" Well, not this Saturday night! Case in point, look how quiet it got in the first half of the BC game last week after a few good plays. This helped BC. Then look how loud we got in the second half and how it helped change the outcome of the game.
6) Make their ears bleed on every third down.
7) Encourage those around you to keep yelling-its contagious!
8) Students get some rest Friday night and save your partying for after our big win Saturday night! We need you the most!

can I bring a whistle in the upper deck and blow as loud as possible without being caught or frowned at? Is it more effective?

just get really drunk and you wont even notice losing your voice. you may not be able to talk in the morning but it will be worth it.

teams are in their huddle. That's one of the most important times to yell! I think folks stop yelling and listen to the music being played between plays.

I found raising my arms above my head (while blocking the sun during the BC game) helped as well.
