Came across this article and had to laugh and share. Who wants life advice from an old coot! Should rewrite article for people who can give advice on how to cheer for a historical underachieving football team.

a lot of us older types have always referred to some, older men as "Old Coots."

Hence, why I had a big laugh the first time I saw TNetters using the term in reference to the Gamecocks...which we older Tigers have always called The Chickens. lol
