...doesn't get a slot this year? Pondering how quickly Fakebum and the rest of the eSECpn talking heads will push for a 6 or 8 team playoff system.

You know it's coming and it's just a matter of time plus the "injustice" of Bama missing the CFP.

Pac 12 champs would cause a much bigger stir. If you want the playoff expanded THAT'S what you should actually be pulling for. Of course i can't fathom anyone here actually pulling for Bama to get in over Oregon or Utah.

Yes, and 8 team playoff is on the way already.

P5 Champions with 1 loss or less will automatically be in leaving 3-at-large spots open.

Everybody will still be complaining about SEC bias then too.

Where have you seen 8 team playoff already on the way. Every thing I have heard or read most of the conferences commissioners have not been in favor of it

I would have thought that you were right up until 2 weeks ago when the opinions of head coaches were published. Over half, and if I am remembering correctly, well over half of the SEC coaches supported staying at 4 versus expansion. Now if the unspeakable happened and the SEC cannibalized itself to the point that no SEC team got in, they may have an emergency meeting to change it for this year.
